Meet William Branum

A former US Navy SEAL with 26 years of service and founder of NW Recovery, William Branum is focused on sharing the recovery benefits he has experienced through premium quality (THC Free) CBD in hopes that other Veterans and First Responders can also experience their own recovery.

Q: Tell us more about why you are so passionate about CBD?

A. Like many veterans, I had numerous physical injuries and psychological symptoms that negatively impacted my well being and quality of life.  Migraines, severe anxiety, chronic pains, difficulty focusing, difficulty sleeping/falling asleep, and depression are just some of the symptoms I struggled with on a daily basis. I tried many prescription medications and after they failed, I eventually fell into the trap of “self medicating” with alcohol to help with pain and sleep issues.

During my last few years of military service, I started hearing more about the promising benefits of cannabinoids like CBD. I waited until my retirement from the military before exploring plant-based benefits to help aid in my physical and psychological recovery.  And, to maintain my Top Secret Security clearance after the military, I focused on THC-free options of CBD.

Since my discovery of CBD, I have reduced my anxiety, improved quality of sleep, experienced less joint pain, and overall, improved the quality of my life. I am so passionate about sharing the recovery benefits I have experienced with other Veterans and First Responders so they can experience their own recovery.

Q:  How has being a military man carried over into how you lead NW Recovery?

A: In a quick summary, we have a clear initiative at NW Recovery: To develop premium products to support physical and mental recovery through innovation and excellence. Our dedication to product quality stems from my own personal journey in the military. Our standards for quality and effectiveness are carried over from a lifetime of service in the elite Unconventional Special Operations Teams to a small unconventional company dedicated to the recovery of veterans, first responders, and athletes. Military teaches us that the only way to perform at our highest potential is to allow our bodies and minds the opportunity to recover.

Q: AND, you've written a book? Tell us more.

A: Yes, it's called "5 SEAL Secrets." It’s a short read with 5 powerful tactical lessons I believe were the key to my success as well as the key to every other Navy SEAL's success. Sometimes these secrets saved my life, other times these secrets just helped me get through some grueling times when I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Q: AND you've written a guide to CBD oil?

A: Yes, CBD oil has a long and storied past. However, as little as a quarter of a century ago, hardly anyone had ever heard of Cannabidiol (CBD), and it's quickly growing in popularity—even headed toward mainstream acceptance. CBD oil is finding its way into a variety of products, from tinctures to edibles and balms to cosmetics. CBD oil is even becoming popular among pet owners who want to help their pets live healthier lives! My hope is that this guide will educate people so they can make more informed decisions for themselves and their loved ones. (Click here to access the guide.)

Q: Last question, why work with AccreditedHomeHealthcare.Directory?

A: So much of what I am passionate about—caring for those who need alternatives to medicine that is not helping or is even addictive—is what AccreditedHomeHealthcare.Directory is all about. CBD can be helpful to the patients AND the caregivers. You guys also care about both! It just makes sense.
